About the speaker

Elaine Aucoin, P.Eng
Director, Environmental Planning and Management, City of Moncton

Ms. Aucoin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick.  Ms. Aucoin has over 15 years of experience in the field of engineering and environmental services and she currently works for the City of Moncton as the Director of Environmental Planning and Management. 

Ms. Aucoin is responsible for the development and implementation of climate change mitigation and adaptation measures for the corporation and the community, including greenhouse gas reduction initiatives and flood mitigation strategies.
